Canberra Australia’s Capital

Australia’s capital, Canberra is a must see to learn about the country’s culture. One of the few planned cities in the world, Canberra was chosen to be the capital in 1908 as a compromise between Melbourne and Sydney. The main appeal is of course Old Parliament House and Parliament House where you can take part in free tours.

The Australian Insitiute of Sport is also located in Canberra. If your into sport have a look at the behind the scenes tour to see what it’s like to be an elite athlete. With a bit of luck you will catch some athletes during training.
