The Twelve Apostles- Nature’s Wonder

In the southern ocean off the coastline the pillars of stones created by the geographic phenomena is known as the Twelve Apostles, the name derived after the New Testament Greek word apostles which means the one who is sent forth as a messenger and should not be confused with a disciple. By the tradition it is believed that Jesus has the twelve apostles who had spread Gospel after his Crucifixion. The fact which is responsible for the creation of Twelve Apostles is that the erosion in the limestone rock faces created copses in the strands and after a lot of years they join and transformed into curves. Eventually these arches collapsed and created the columns which we admire today.
Twelve Apostles are situated in the Twelve Apostles Marine National Park and along the Great Ocean Road on the seaside of Port Campbell National Park in Victoria. Some of the activities like scuba diving, kayaking is offered by Marine National Park of Twelve Apostles, while activities like hiking, camping and cycling can be done in Port Campbell National Park.

The second most populated city of Victoria and a non capital fifth most populated city of Australia is Geelong which is a port city situated on the Corio Bay and the Barwon River in Victoria state 75 km from Melbourne. Ballarat: A Lavishing City

At first sight giving memorable impression, particularly if approaching from the west via Western Highway, along Avenue of Honor the lavishing provincial city of Ballarat was titled by Scottish colonizer Archibald Yuille who established the sheep run called Ballarat in 1837 with the name taken from local native words for the area, which means ‘resting place’. The drive which enters the Sturt Street and the city is creased on each side with over 22km of trees and dedicated to soldiers who fought in World War I and ends at the massive Arch of Victory.
Till 1918, before the exhaustion of fantastically rich reef mines of Ballarat, move than a quarter of all gold found in Victoria came from there. Nowadays there are many more obvious attractions especially Sovereign Hill and fine architecture, the town is interesting in its own way. It holds a fairly large student population which makes the city pulsating and gives a reasonably active nightlife. Also, Begonia Festival which is a 100 year old Ballarat festival attracts thousands of visitors in early March.
