The famous Australian War Memorial & Museum began its life back in 1941 and is open every day between 10 and 5. It is located in central Canberra and looks out upon the city of Canberra and Parliament House.

Canberra’s War Memorial is by far one of Australia’s best. It houses a huge collection of information, images and media about all the wars Australia has been involved in. These wars include World War One, World War Two, the Korean War, the South African War, the Gulf War and others.

The War Memorial showcases historical exhibits and aims to educate people on how many Australian men and woman gave their lives for the great country of Autralia.
