Cairns Night Markets

Back in 1991 a pair of entrepreneurs had an idea. That was to build a new open air market to the city of Cairns.

The Cairns night markets were inspired by similar markets in Asia and Hawaii, and similar to the markets in those areas was designed for local traders to sell their highly sought after Cairns souvenirs to the large number of tourists that pass through the city.

The Cairns night markets quickly grew from 28 vendors to now over 130 permanent stalls with a 200 seat food court.

If you are planning a trip to Cairns there are endless things to do and see. To get around grab a car rental Cairns from Rent Me a Car and book your Cairns accommodation with cairnsaccomodation.info.
