Located 60 KM from Melbourne and 60 KM from Ballarat is Bacchus Marsh. Bacchus Marsh has a long history, which dates back to before Ballarats mid 1850s gold rush.
The founder of Bacchus Marsh was Captain William Henry Bacchus who believed this locations was perfect as its on two different rivers, the Werribee and Lerderderg rivers.
